Reno, Nevada : Driver dies after crash on Kingsbury Grade on Friday, 23rd September 2016

One person died and four others were injured after a crash on Kingsbury Grade Friday afternoon.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Nevada Highway Patrol, Tahoe Douglas and East Fork Fire responded to a report of a crash involving a Nissan Pathfinder and motor home at 1:22 p.m.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol Twitter, extrication was required for two people. Three people were transported by Care Flight, and two people were transported by ambulance.The female driver of the Pathfinder died at the hospital. Her name was being withheld until next of kin were notified.

Kingsbury Grade was closed in both directions. Lanes were reopened around 7:15 p.m. Friday.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
