Hillsborough, FL : Tampa woman in wheelchair hit, killed on Sheldon Road around 8.35 p.m May 14th 2014.

Hillsborough deputies are investigating the death of a woman in a wheelchair hit and killed on Sheldon Road.

Investigators say around 8:35 p.m., Kimberly Laughlin was crossing Sheldon Road at Wood Lake Drive in her wheelchair after leaving the Radiant Food store.

Deputies say Rosemary Ann Fowler was driving north on Sheldon, did not see Laughlin, and hit her. Officials tell us Fowler stopped her Ford Explorer after the collision.

Laughlin was pronounced dead at the scene. At this time no charges have been announced against the driver.
