Campbell County, TN : One adult and a child were killed in car crash after SUV went into a ditch and struck a tree, ejecting Coker in Campbell County on Friday , January 23rd 2015

One adult and a child were killed following a car crash in Campbell County on 1744 State Highway 116 around 4:00 p.m. Friday.

Tennessee Highway Patrol says 30-year-old Bobby Coker Jr. was driving south in his SUV when the vehicle left the road while making a left curve.

THP says the SUV went into a ditch and struck a tree, ejecting Coker.

Coker had two passengers in his vehicle, 6-year-old Skyland Coker, who was also killed, and 8-year-old Marissa Coker, who was injured.

Troopers say Coker was not wearing his seat belt, and it is unknown if drugs and alcohol were a factor.
