Texarkana, AR : Car crashes into Texarkana apartment, lands in kitchen on Friday night, March 27, 2015

A car crashed into a Texarkana apartment Friday night, coming to a stop in the middle of the kitchen.

At last check, there were no serious injuries reported, but the woman and a young child inside the car were being checked out by paramedics.

It happened around 8 p.m. at the Village Park South Apartments in the 2500 block of East Street.

There was one person inside the one-story apartment at the time, but she was not injured.

The building has been deemed unlivable.

There is no word yet on what caused the crash.
