Jacksonville, FL : Two pedestrians killed in hit and run crash on Wednesday October 7 2015

Authorities say two pedestrians were hit and killed on Jacksonville roads within a half-hour of each other.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that a 62-year-old man ran into the path of a car on a busy road heading toward Jacksonville Beach around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Florida Times-Union that the man was knocked into the median.Then around 8 p.m. on the other side of town, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office reports that a 65-year-old woman was hit while trying to cross a street near her home.
