ELKO, NV : Three hurt in weekend ATV accident on Saturday, May 27, 2017

An ATV accident over the Memorial Day weekend sent three local residents to the hospital.

Elko County Sheriff's office responded to the accident in the Soldier Creek area around 6 p.m. Saturday.

Anthony Rains of Elko, Jenell Cook of Spring Creek and another male all received medical attention following the accident.

Two of the vehicle’s occupants were transported by ambulance to Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital while another was transported by Reach Air to the University of Utah Hospital.
