Logan Twp., N.J : Eight vehicles involved in serious crash on Route 130 early Wednesday morning, December 21, 2016

An early morning accident involving multiple cars on Route 130 has shut down traffic on the roads.

According to 6ABC, eight vehicles, including a commercial tanker truck, were involved in a the crash.

The accident reportedly happened around 8:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Route 130, near Route 44 in Logan Township.

Detours have been created and drivers are being advised to seek alternate routes.

The number of people involved, or injured, are not known at this time. Police did not return immediate request for comment.
