Yokohl Valley, CA : 39-year-old Exeter woman dies in solo crash on Yokohl Valley road on Tuesday night July 29th 2014

A 39-year-old Exeter woman died Tuesday night in a one-car crash on Yokohl Valley drive when she lost control of a 2011 Kia Rio, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash took place about 6:30 p.m. east of Road 228 as the driver was westbound and approaching a curve when she lost control of the car. The Kia went through a barbed wire fence and slammed into an embankment and then overturned several times, the CHP said. The driver died at the scene.

She was not immediately identified pending notification of next of kin.
