LANCASTER COUNTY, SC : Driver killed in crash involving tractor trailer in Lancaster County on Highway 521 on Wednesday, 2nd January 2019

A driver was killed in a crash involving a tractor trailer in Lancaster County Wednesday evening.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Highway 521 at Ramblin Road, about 1.2 miles north of Heath Springs around 6 p.m.
A driver in a Dodge Avenger was heading north on Highway 521 as a tractor trailer was backing across the highway into a private driveway.
The driver of the Dodge Avenger struck the rear of the tractor trailer as it was backing in.
The driver was not seat belted and was pronounced dead on the scene.
There were also two juveniles in the vehicle. Both were transported to Springs Memorial.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
