Harrison, ME : Driver seen going 92 mph killed when vehicle hits guardrail in Maine on Monday August 10th 2015
Authorities say a driver seen speeding along a road was killed when his vehicle struck a guardrail and flipped over multiple times in Harrison.
Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies saw a vehicle traveling at 92 mph in a 55 mph zone shortly before 7 p.m. Monday, but didn't stop it because they were heading to an emergency in the opposite direction. A short time later, they learned of a crash and discovered it was the vehicle they'd seen.
The driver, 31-year-old Kenneth K. Bryant of Harrison, was killed. He was the sole occupant. Witnesses say his vehicle flipped over 10 to 12 times and he was thrown from it.
Authorities say Bryant had a suspended license and wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
