CHEATHAM COUNTY, TN : THP trooper injured after pursuit of stolen vehicle ends in crash suspect in custody on Thursday, 9th November 2023

A trooper with the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) was injured in a crash Thursday night after a pursuit with a stolen vehicle.

According to a spokesperson for THP, the crash occurred on I-40 eastbound near mile marker 187 in Cheatham County. The crash was a result from the pursuit of the stolen vehicle.

During the pursuit, both the suspect vehicle and THP unit ran off the right side of the roadway and struck several standing trees, according to THP.
