CANTON, OH : Canton resident identified as motorcyclist in fatal crash on Friday, 19th October 2018

The motorcyclist who died following a collision with an SUV on Friday has been identified as Roland A. Koch Jr.

Koch was a 41-year-old from Canton, according to the Stark County Coroner’s Office.

The collision occurred around 6:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 22nd Street and Endrow Avenue NE. The motorcyle and a GMC Acadia were involved in a crash. Koch was transported to Mercy Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The accident remained under investigation Monday afternoon, according to the Canton Police Department.
