Cooper County, MO : Boonville man dies in a crash at Interstate 70 in Cooper County on Sunday, 12th August 2018

A 60-year-old Boonville man died when his car flipped over Sunday night on a rural road south of Interstate 70 in Cooper County.

Raymond Johnston was thrown from his truck after it slid off the left side of Debo Road near Route U shortly after 9 p.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Johnston had initially gone off the right side of the road then over-corrected, the patrol said.

Johnston wasn't wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, the patrol said.
