Waseca County, MN : Austin teen dead and another seriously injured after rollover crash on Highway 14 in Waseca County on Saturday afternoon, April 18, 2015

A 19-year-old Austin woman died after a rollover crash Saturday night in Waseca County, the State Patrol said Sunday afternoon.
The woman, Helayna Nguyen, was a passenger in a car driven by a 17-year-old Austin girl. The car rolled over on Highway 14 in Waseca County at 11:25 p.m. Saturday.

Nguyen was not wearing a seat belt, according to the State Patrol. She was taken to North Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis.

The 17-year-old, whom the State Patrol did not name, was seriously injured and taken to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. She was wearing a seat belt.
Alcohol was not believed to have been a factor in the crash.

The Janesville Police Department, the Waseca County Sheriff's Office and the Waseca Police Department assisted. Also assisting were Waseca Fire and rescue, North Ambulance, North Aircare and Gold Cross Ambulance.
