GLENDALE, AZ : 2 pedestrians hospitalized after accident in Glendale on Friday, 13th September 2024

Two people are in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Glendale.

Around 9:20 p.m., officers responded to 59th Avenue and Greenway Road for reports of a car accident involving two pedestrians.

Police said two people were both crossing “mid-block” before they were hit by the vehicle.

59th Avenue is shut down north of Greenway Road to Mary Jane Lane for northbound and southbound lanes. It is unclear when the road will reopen.
