Sidney, MT : One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Saturday, June 3, 2017

One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident south of Sidney on Saturday night.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the accident happened a little after 9:30 p.m. on mile marker 51 on Highway 16.

A Nissan pickup was heading southbound when it was rear-ended by a Ford F-150 pickup, which was also traveling southbound.

The Ford F-150 then went across the traffic and stopped on a field on the east side of the road.

The driver of the Nissan pickup was taken to the Sidney Health Center for what appeared to be “non life threatening” injuries.

The driver of the Ford was charged with DUI and careless driving.

Agencies responding were the Montana Highway Patrol, Sidney Fire Department and Sidney Ambulance Service.
