GRAVES COUNTY, KY : One adult one child hospitalized after Graves County crash on Thursday, 14th March 2024

Two people were sent to a hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday evening.

Officials with the Graves County Sheriff's Office responded to the crash in the 1000-block of Mountain Ridge Road around 5:35 p.m. Deputies were sent to the Clear Springs area to investigate.

According to a release from the sheriff's office, Odalis Lucero Sixtos, 25, of Hickory, was driving a 2014 Hyundai Veloster north along Mountain Ridge Road. At this time, Ally McClanahan, 25, of Hickory, was driving south on the same road in a 2021 white Jeep Grand Cherokee.

They both then reportedly crashed into each other at the top of a hill in the middle of the road. Officials stated the area had low visibility.

Sixtos and the Hyundai's child passenger were sent to the Jackson Purchase Medical Center, according to the statement from the sheriff's office. Deputies reported McClanahan did not receive medical treatment.
