Five people from Hitterdal, including children, are hurt after their van was hit by a semi Sunday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 31-year-old Chelsea Anderson was heading north in Hector when she stopped at an intersection.

She then drove through the intersection and was hit on the passenger side by a semi.

Anderson, along with 36-year-old Adam Anderson and three children ages 3, 6 and 7, were hurt and taken to the hospital, but they're expected to be OK.
