Murfreesboro, TN : Mother of Riverdale High's D'Andre Litaker killed in I-65 crash on Tuesday, November 15th 2016

A top college football prospect from Riverdale High School is mourning the death of his mother following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday on Interstate 65 in Williamson County.

Stephanie A. Coleman, 42, died in the crash, which took place about 5:45 p.m. near mile marker 59, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Coleman, of Murfreesboro, is the mother of junior D'Andre Litaker, a four-star college football prospect with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee among others.

Two other people, including a 13-year-old passenger in Coleman's vehicle, were also injured in the wreck which closed all northbound lanes for several hours Tuesday night.

The 13-year-old is Litaker's sister. As of Wednesday morning, a family friend said she was hospitalized at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
