Richmond, VA : Glen Allen man dies in crash on Mountain Road on Sunday, September 10, 2017

A Glen Allen man died Sunday after losing control of his motorcycle in the 13000 block of Mountain Road in Hanover County, authorities said.James Edward Contreras, 51, fell off his 2003 Harley Davidson and was struck by another driver after Contreras hit the brakes and began to skid, according to a release from the Hanover County Sheriff's Office.

Contreras died at the scene just before noon, according to the release. Authorities say they are continuing to investigate the wreck but do not anticipate filing any charges.
