PARIS, MO : Iowa man injured in crash on U.S. 24, 1 mile west of Paris on Tuesday, 7th August 2018
An Iowa man was seriously injured in an early Tuesday morning crash west of Paris.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2017 Kenworth conventional tractor trailer driven by Aaron M. Torticill, 37, of Hudson, Iowa, was eastbound on U.S. 24, 1 mile west of Paris, at 3:40 a.m. The patrol said the driver fell asleep, and the tractor trailer crossed the road before colliding with a ditch, fence and tree.
Torticill was taken by Monroe County Ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.
The patrol was assisted by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department.
