A 9-year-old has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition following a car crash in Delaware.
Delaware State Police say the crash happened south of Ellendale on Saturday. State Police say the driver of a Toyota Yaris was attempting to enter the northbound lane of N. DuPont Boulevard from E. Robbins Road when he pulled into the path of a pickup truck.
State Police say the pickup truck struck the back of the Toyota. State Police say the driver of the Toyota had minor injuries but that his son, who was not properly restrained, was flown to a hospital in critical condition. State Police say the driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
