ALEXANDRIA, OH : 1 dead after fatal crash in Licking County on Hardscrabble Road near Battee Road on Saturday, 5th January 2019

Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that left one dead Saturday night.

At approximately 8:16 p.m., Jacob M. McNamara was traveling south on Hardscrabble Road near Battee Road.

OSHP says McNamara drove off the left side of road, struck a ditch, sign post, two trees and overturned.

Officials pronounced McNamara dead at the scene.

Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in this crash.
