Murphysboro, IL : Evansville man killed in Jackson County crash on Saturday, May 7, 2016

David L. Fehr, 57, of Evansville, died in a single-vehicle crash Saturday on Illinois 149, according to Jackson County Sheriff's Department.

At about 2:39 p.m., deputies responded near the intersection of Mileur Orchard Road and Illinois 149, west of Murphysboro. Fehr was traveling westbound when his vehicle left the roadway and struck several trees. He was taken to a local hospital and flown to an Evansville, Indiana, hospital, where he died from his injuries.
