Eufaula ,OK : 44-year-old James Lee Reece killed after crash on Monday afternoon ,August 17th 2015

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Eufaula man was killed when he was thrown from a pickup truck that left a roadway in McIntosh County and struck a tree.

The agency said Tuesday that 44-year-old James Lee Reece Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident northeast of Eufaula.

According to the highway patrol's report, a pickup truck driven by 53-year-old James Darrel Bruner left the roadway to the right and hit a tree Monday afternoon. Reece was ejected, while Bruner suffered leg injuries and was hospitalized in guarded condition.
