Xenia Township, OH : One person injured in a Serious crash involving car and dump truck in Greene County on Wednesday, October 19, 2016

Police are on the scene of a serious accident in Xenia Township in Greene County.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday north of Hickman Road and old U.S. 42.

Xenia Police Dispatch says a car and a dump truck were involved in the crash.

One person was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Hickman Road was closed from Brush Row Road to Nash Road as crews work to clean up the scene.

The Greene County Sheriff is on the scene, with the Ohio State Highway Patrol on its way to run the investigation.

Ohio Department of Transportation said the road was reopened in both directions around noon.,
