LIMA, OH : A two-vehicle auto accident on Saturday, July 15, 2017
A two-vehicle auto accident closed state Route 309 temporarily and knocked power out to the east side of Lima.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 2013 Black Subaru and a 1998 Pontiac were involved in a crash at state Route 309 and Thayer Road, knocking down a telephone pole and causing the power line to rest on top of the vehicles.
Troopers closed state Route 309 from 12:23 to 4:05 p.m.
Two people were taken to Lima Memorial Health System where they were treated, then released.
Bath Township Fire Department and Perry Township Fire Department responded to the scene.
The accident remained under investigation late Saturday.
