MOBILE COUNTY, AL : Dauphin Island man killed in single-vehicle crash on Friday, 10th May 2024

A 36-year-old Dauphin Island man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Mobile County early Friday, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Thomas H. Clough was fatally injured when the 2015 Ford F-350 he was driving left the roadway, struck a culvert head wall and overturned, ALEA said. Clough, who authorities said was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The wreck happened around midnight about 5 miles south of Mobile on Alabama 193 near the 13 mile marker.

Troopers with ALEA continue to investigate the crash.
