OKALOOSA COUNTY, FL : Baker man arrested after DUI crash critically injures Pensacola 18-year-old on Sunday, 15th September 2024

An 18-year-old Pensacola man is in critical condition after a crash Sunday night, leading to a DUI arrest of a 37-year-old Baker man, according to FHP.

Troopers say around 7:50 p.m., 37-year-old Kyle Brandon Frazier was traveling south on U.S. Highway 4, approaching the intersection of Galliver Cutoff at a high speed when the 18-year-old man was turning left, north from Galliver Cutoff onto northbound US Highway 4.

The 18-year-oldturned left into the path of Frazier who was traveling above the posted speed of 45 miles per hour.

The front of the Frazier's pickup truck struck the driver's side of the 18-year-old man's pickup truck.

The 18-year-old man was airlifted to a trauma center in Pensacola.

Frazier was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence with Serious Bodily Injury and Reckless Driving with Serious Bodily Injury.
