A pedestrian was struck and injured in a crash Wednesday in Brandywine Hundred, an official said.
The crash happened at noon in the 4100 block of Concord Pike, said Cpl. Jeffrey Hale, a spokesman with the Delaware State Police Department.
The victim, described as a 45-year-old woman, was flown to Christiana Hospital for treatment.
She was admitted in serious condition with head and leg injuries, said Sgt. Abigail Haas, a spokeswoman for New Castle County Paramedics.
Details on how the crash occurred were not readily available, Hale said.
