CHAMPAIGN, IL : Coroner identifies woman killed in I-72 hit-and-run on Thursday, 14th September 2023

The Champaign County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of a woman who was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Interstate 72.In a press release, Coroner Duane Northrup said the woman is Colleen S. Keigher, 33 of Champaign. Preliminary information indicates that Keigher was walking along Interstate 72 near Champaign when she was hit and killed by a car. The car fled the scene.
