Norwalk, CT : 2 people injured in rear-end collision in Norwalk on Wednesday, 12th June 2019

Two people were injured in a rear-end collision Wednesday morning on Cleveland Road.No charges had been filed by press time in the accident involving the vehicles driven by Rebecka I. Bedard, 26, of 394 Cleveland Road, Apt. 13-H, and Hunter L. Chapman Klein, 16 of 22 Newton St.

Chapman Klein was stopped on Cleveland Road about 9:50 a.m. and attempted to turn left into 142 Cleveland Road. Bedard, who was driving 2008 Honda, failed to stop and hit the rear of the 2018 Ford Escape driven by Chapman Klein, Norwalk Police Capt. Eric Hipp said.

North Central EMS transported Bedard to Fisher-Titus Medical Center with suspected serious injuries and Chapman Klein’s passenger, Heather Chapman, 44, also of 22 Newton St., went to the hospital with minor injuries, Hipp said.
