Salisbury, N.C : Six transported, one dead following serious Salisbury crash on Sunday night, May 18 2014

Authorities are investigating a crash at the intersection of Woodleaf Road and Highway 601 near Highway 70 in Salisbury.
North Carolina State Troopers said one person died and six others were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
They said two vehicles were heading in the opposite direction on Woodleaf Road. One driver lost control of the car and hit the other car.
One car had two people inside while the other had five.
Troopers said they do not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident, but that speed may have been a factor.
