Portland, OR : Pedestrian hit by debris when pickup crashes into bus shelter at Southeast 26th and Powell Boulevard on Wednesday morning, Oct 7, 2015

A pedestrian was hit by debris Wednesday morning when a driver crashed into a bus stop shelter at Southeast 26th and Powell Boulevard.

The pedestrian wasn't seriously hurt in the crash.

Officers at the scene said the driver crashed into the bus shelter near Cleveland High School and the Powell City Park. The crash threw debris over ten feet, and police said a pedestrian was struck by part of the bus shelter.

The driver took off after the crash.

The suspect vehicle, a dark blue Toyota T100 pickup, was last seen heading northbound on 28th Avenue.
