Pensacola,FL : Florida Highway Patrol searching for vehicle involved in hit-and-run with bicycle on February, Friday 9th 2018

The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash with a bicycle Friday night.

The crash occurred at approximately 10 p.m. Friday on Michigan Avenue, west of
Valley Escondido Drive, according to the FHP. The vehicle is described as a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Nissan or Toyota, and will have front-end damage due to the collision.

The vehicle collided with Waymon Dale Tyson, 31, of Pensacola, while he was traveling eastbound on a bicycle in the left lane of Michigan Avenue. After the incident, Tyson was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital with serious injuries.
