Winona,MN : Two injured in St. Charles accident Monday evening on September, Monday 18th 2017

Two people were injured when their vehicles collided at the intersection of Hwy. 14 and Hwy. 74 in St. Charles Monday evening.

Rita Rae Nelson, 59, of Utica, Minn., was driving south on Whitewater Ave. to Hwy. 74 just after 6 p.m. Monday when her car collided with a vehicle driven by Dorothy Patricia Olson, 70, of Winona at the intersection. Olson was traveling east at the time and only her vehicle’s airbag deployed.


Both drivers were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn. with non-life threatening injuries.

The St. Charles Fire and Police departments and ambulance service assisted on the scene of the accident.
