TABOR, IA : Fremont County Sheriff’s Office investigating fatal grain bin accident on Monday, 4th March 2024

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man died in a grain bin on Monday.

The sheriff’s office says it received a call about an incident at a grain bin site southeast of Tabor. They say it appears Robert Smith, 94, was helping in a bin unloading soybeans while running a grain vacuum.
