LEE COUNTY, FL : Bicyclist injured after Fort Myers hit and run crash on Sunday, 22nd November, 2020

Investigators are looking for the driver accused of hitting a bicyclist and immediately leaving the scene in Fort Myers, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The unknown driver was heading south on San Carlos Boulevard. A 50-year-old Fort Myers man was heading west across San Carlos Boulevard, just south of Whitewater Court.

The driver hit the back wheel of the bike and caused the bicyclist to fall onto the outside lane of San Carlos Boulevard, troopers said.

The bicyclist suffered minor injuries in the crash.
