SPAULDING TOWNSHIP, MI : One dead five injured following a crash in Saginaw County on Wednesday, 20th March 2024

One person died, and five people were injured during a crash in Saginaw County Wednesday morning.

Michigan State Police were dispatched at 6:40 a.m. to East Road (M-13) near West Townline Road in Spaulding Township for a serious traffic crash.

According to the Michigan State Police's preliminary investigation, a 38-year-old man from Burt was traveling north on East Road when he lost control. The driver went into the southbound lane and struck another motorist going south. Both the vehicles caught fire. Three other vehicles going south on East Road were involved in the crash.
