Pueblo,CO : Motorcycle driver killed in I-25 Pueblo crash identified on December, Saturday 2nd 2017

The victim of a fatal motorcycle accident that took place Saturday evening on Interstate 25 has been identified by Pueblo County Coroner Brian Cotter as 35-year-old Pueblo resident Alfonso Martinez.

Prior to the accident, Pueblo police dispatch received a call of a careless, reckless driver on a motorcycle traveling in the wrong direction on Interstate 25. The reporting party informed dispatch that the motorcycle was heading northbound in the southbound lanes.

"Within seconds, we got another call that he had been hit," Pueblo PD Sgt. Howard Jackson told The Chieftain. "He collided head-on with a (red Dodge Ram 2500) pick-up truck."
