Semi crash on Sherburn Lane sends driver to hospital

Emergency crews have cleared the scene of an accident that sent one person to the hospital.According to reports, a semi truck was traveling along I-64 when the driver lost control and ran off the interstate.The semi struck two trees and nearly crashed into an apartment complex at Sherbern Lane and Mallard Creek Drive.

The semi driver had to be extricated from the truck and was transported to the hospital. Police said the man suffered a broken leg.
The accident is under investigation.
