WAYNE TWP, PA : 2 killed in Schuylkill County crash on Thursday, 9th May 2024

A mix of speeding and rainy weather has left two people dead following a crash along Route 183 in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County.

The Schuylkill County coroner said Nathan Reedy, 23, and Italia Deering, 19, were driving along the road just before midnight, when Reedy lost control of the car.

Police said Reedy was driving at high speed around a curve and slammed into another car, driven by a 56-year-old woman.

The coroner said both Reedy and Deering died at the scene from extensive blunt force trauma suffered in the crash.
