Steamboat Springs, CO : Woman dies in fiery crash with tanker truck near Steamboat Springs on Friday, October 10, 2014

A woman is dead after an SUV she was driving hit a tanker truck and caught fire on Rabbit Ears Pass. The Colorado State Patrol says it was responding to reports of a drunk driver when the crash occurred on Friday. Troopers identified the woman who died in the crash as Debra Emal, 61, of Fraser. According to Steamboat Today a trooper tried to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher, but was unable to get close to the burning vehicle.
