LUZERNE COUNTY, PA : Crash on I-80 in Luzerne County shuts down all lanes on Thursday, 26th September 2024

All lanes are closed after a crash on I-80 eastbound in Luzerne County around 7:18 p.m., between Exit 262 Mountaintop/Hazleton and Exit 273 White Haven/Freeland.

Traffic will be detoured onto Route 309 and East Butler Drive (Freeland Mountain), increasing traffic.

There is no word on what caused the accident and how long this detour and lane closures will be in place.
