Brandon , MS : 54 - Years old Person killed in fatal accident after driver of a silver Chevy pick-up attempted to exit I-20 at the downtown Brandon exit on Tuesday Morning ,February 17th 2015

One person is dead following an overnight accident in Brandon.

It happened at about 2 am around I-20 and Highway 80.

Brandon police believe the driver of a silver Chevy pick-up attempted to exit I-20 at the downtown Brandon exit, then hit a curb and flipped over.

The 54 year-old driver died on the scene. Police say the accident was not weather related.
