CASS COUNTY, MI : 1 dead, another injured in Cass County crash on Friday, 13th September 2024

One person is dead, and another person is injured after a single-vehicle crash late Friday night in southeastern Cass County.

The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on Teasdale Lake Street just west of Robbins Lake Road in Porter Township.

Police believe the vehicle was speeding on Teasdale Lake Street when the driver lost control, flipped the vehicle on its top, slid down an embankment for approximately 50 yards and hit a tree.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
