Melbourne, FL : Pedestrian struck, killed in Space Coast Stadium parking lot Saturday night, April 23, 2016

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in the Space Coast Stadium Parking lot Saturday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Terra Martin, 39, of Orlando, was standing in coned-off area of the parking lot when she was struck by a Jeep Wrangler driven by Dorothy Bowman, 33.

Troopers said Martin was wearing a yellow safety vest, but Bowman did not see her.

Martin was pronounced dead at Viera Hospital.

Bowman and two children in her Jeep were uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation.
