Somis, CA : One person injured after head-on collision in Somis on Wednesday, December 17, 2014

One person was taken to the hospital after two vehicles collided head-on Wednesday in Somis, officials said. The California Highway Patrol reported the crash at 4:57 p.m. near the intersection of Los Angeles Avenue and Somis Road. Moderate to heavy damage was reported to the vehicles involved, according to the Ventura County Fire Department. One person was taken to a local hospital, officials said.
