JACKSON COUNTY, OH : 2 injured in crash in Jackson County on Friday, 19th July 2024

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Jackson County on Friday night.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said a tow truck was stopped to help a driver on State Route 93 in Franklin Township around 11 p.m. on Friday when a pickup truck headed north struck the operator of the tow truck.

The pickup truck overturned and went off the road, striking a guardrail and a sign.

The operator of the tow truck was flown to to the Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV with serious injuries.
