CHICO, CA : Sierra Nevada worker suffers injuries in bottling line accident on Wednesday, 22nd April, 2020

An unidentified employee at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. received minor to moderate injuries Wednesday afternoon when his arm became caught in a device on the company”s bottling line.

Owner Ken Grossman said the man suffered a bruised arm, but was otherwise fine.

He was taken by ambulance after the 3 p.m. accident to Enloe Medical Center, then released to go home.

Grossman said the employee was loading glass bottles when a door slammed on his arm and became stuck. He was freed prior to the arrival of emergency crews.

No other workers were involved in the accident.
